There you were sitting in Germany's living room at two in the morning, drenched from the rain, and a complete mess. Your make-up was smeared and your hair was disheveled and matted-- and on top of everthing else -- you had just gotten mugged. Sure, you could've tried to put up a struggle, but to your dismay, your attacker came prepared with a switchblade knife.

As I was saying, there you were sitting in Germany's living room a total mess, and having him interrogate you on the recent incident.

"______, I don't see how you could've allowed this to happen to yourself--"

"Well, it's not like I intended for this to happen, Germany! I mean, I don't just go prowling around the city at night searching for trouble."

Germany stared at you with his ice-blue eyes as you cut him off from his lecturing. You turned your head in a futile attempt at ignoring his glare, but failed miserably as his eyes faux daggers cut into you. With a deep sigh, Germany stood up and ran a hand through his blonde hair, slicking it back in the process.

"That's not what I meant, what I am trying to say is that you need to be more prepared for a situation like this. What if you were to get attacked again und the attacker actually did hurt you?"

Before you snapped back at him with a snide comment, you bit your lip to silence yourself. Germany was right, this time you were lucky the guy didn't stab you and leave you to bleed out in the street.

Germany continued to stare at you, waiting for you to say something. All you could do now was simply bite your tongue and wait for him to finish his lecture.

He let out a gruff sigh and turned his head. "What do you intend to do about this afterwards? Surely you wouldn't want this incident to repeat itself, so what procautions are you willing to take to avoid it?"

For a moment you sat there in thought and wondered just what exactly you could do. Then, it hit you. Germany could teach you some self defense techniques! Germany was the strongest and manliest man you knew, so why not?

"I've got it!" You blurted, standing up from your seat with a smile. "You could teach me some fighting moves to defend myself!" You lightly punched Germany's arm as you saw his expression change from a strict frown into a small smirk.

"You expect me to teach someone like you ? You're just like Italy when it comes to training! You lack motivation!"

When you heard Germany compare you to Italy, your enthusiastic smile faded.

"What!? No I don't!" You gritted your teeth and groaned low in your throat as you struggled to keep some insults at bay. His smirk only grew bigger when he was aware that he was beginning to irritate you. Before you released your slur of curses and insults, he chuckled deeply causing you to stare at him in question.

"Fine. I'll teach you, but don't be complaining about how difficult or tiring it is like Feliciano. Understand?"

"Really? Thank you Germany! I promise you won't regret it!" Quickly, you hugged him in excitement before smiling wide. After a few seconds you released him and rushed towards the door. Before you left out the door, you waved to him. "See you tomorrow Germany!"

With that said, you walked out and closed the door behind you, leaving Germany in his living room alone. As he tried to piece together what you said in your happy rant, he quickly walked towars the door and opened it.

"Wait! ______! You can't just go home alone! Let me drive you! U-und I expect you to be up by six a. m. sharp!"

"Alright! Count off!"

"Uno!"

"Two!"

"Three!" You called out, following Japan and Italy in saluting.

Germany nodded to all of you and continued on with his instructing.

"Sehr gut." Germany looked over Italy, Japan, and stopped when his eyes hit you.

"______! Since today is your first day of training, I'll consider going easier on you then the others."

Consider!? Okay, now you were beginning to think that this whole 'self defense training' thing, wasn't going to work out so well. But, you couldn't just quit, you had to prove to Germany that not only could you make it through this training, but that you can also learn how to defend yourself as well.

You didn't say anything, but simply nodded to show him you understood.

"Italy, Japan, you two will start off with your daily laps, and ______-- I'll start you off with a one-on-one defense technique session." Italy and Japan nodded once at Germany before jogging off to their starting points and beginning their set of laps.

"Now, ______. Today you are to listen to everything I tell you on how to defend yourself properly, if not, then you will surely get your ass kicked or. . . worse. . ." Germany trailed off into thought and completely forgot about what he was talking about in the first place. You shook your head, chuckling lightly before waving a hand in front of his face.

He blinked a few times before finally grabbing your wrist and gently pushing your hand away from his face. You tensed at his touch as you took a step back from him.

"O-oh, I'm sorry Germany. I-I was just--"

"Don't apologize, let's just get started."

After a long day of training with Germany, to say you were exhausted was an understatement. Hell, no words that came to your mind were able to describe your feelings right now, but deep down you knew that it would all pay off very soon. A small smile found it's way onto your face as you approached the front door to your house.

"Ah. Home, sweet, home." You let a relieved sigh bubble from you throat as you finally quit fumbling with your keys and unlocked your door-- lazily pushing it aside. As you stepped inside, you kicked the door shut and began trudging up the stairs.

When you finally reached your bedroom and managed to change without falling, collapsing onto your bed with a thud was music to your ears. At this point, you'd have to say that maybe training wasn't as bad as you imagined it would be. . .

--One Month Later--

Today, you were as bubbly and giddy as ever. You were one month in after you first began training, and you'd have to say-- you were beginning to love the new and improved you. Everyday after you woke up and began to change for the day, you couldn't help but admire yourself in your mirror. Your body began to tone out and if you flexed your arms a bit, you were able to see a bit of muscle protrude. It made you smile to see all of your hard work pay off.

Now, there really was only one more thing to do. Prove to Germany that you were able to properly defend yourself on your own. How you were ever going to prove that to him, you had no clue, but-- you had your mind set on it.

- - -

As a way of celebrating your personal goal-- and Germanys' -- you decided to take the day off from training and go out to a local club.

Afterwards, that night you had a couple of drinks, so you decided to walk home.

You walked down the side-walk at midnight, a little tipsy, but sober enough to not stumble or do anything too idiotic. But, nonetheless, to any weird creeps passing by, you looked like an easy target.

Walking down the cold street didn't bother you any, but you were still a little cautious from the incident that happened nearly a month ago. When you thought about it, you couldn't help but look over your shoulder to make sure no one was following you.

"Damn, I wish I'd at least brought my mace or something. . ."

As you were lost in thought, you failed to realize that someone was indeed following you. And, as it turned out, they were practically on your heels by now.

Before you were able to turn the next street corner, you felt someone grab you by your shoulder roughly. Your heart began to pump widly as you sprung into action, grabbing your attacker's wrist-- turning around and bringing up your fist, punching them straight in the nose with as much force as you could muster.

You pulled your fist back, preparing to punch your attacker again, only to have them catch your hand before you could.

"Stop! _____! It's me, Germany!"

"Wait, . . .what!?"

Before you punched him again, you stepped back to look up at him more clearly in the dimmed street corner, only to come face to face with Germany. Well, Germany with his nose cut and covered in blood.

"Oh! Did you say Germany? I-I thought you said, uh Jeremy! Heh, my bad?" You held up your hands in an innocent manner as you shrugged your shoulders. Now, how were you going to explain this one?

"So, tell me again how you managed to end up with your nose in this condition, Mr. Germany."

Japan finished mending to Germany's cut nose and looked over him once again.

"Uh, like I said, I wasn't watching where I was running and managed to run into a tree." Germany looked down and sighed before Japan nodded.

"Well, next time you see this particular tree, tell it I said 'Job well done'."

Before Germany could ask why Japan would say such a thing, he left the room without another word, leaving you and Germany alone. You walked over to Germany with a smirk and patted his shoulder.

"And you said that I lack motivation, well Mr. Germany , I think this proves how much motivation I have."

Germany grunted before turning his head.

"Ja, ja, so you managed to hit me. So what? Want a medal?"

You snickered lightly before taking hold of his chin, turning his head towards you. "It's not really a medal I was after."

Leaning forward a bit, you smirked once again before claiming Germanys' lips in a passionate kiss. Germany didn't say anything, nor did he try to pull away, he simply went along with it, kissing back with just as much passion.

After the kiss, Germany was the first to pull away and wrap his arms around you in a tight hug.

"Quit catching me off guard." Germany joked lightly, running a hand through your hair before pulling back and smiling up at you.

Before anyone said another word, the both of you shared another passionate kiss.

I don't have much to say about this one, but Germany is my favorite character from Hetalia, so this was totally worth writing at nearly 4 in the morning! :dummy:

But, anyways, this is my first crack at Germany-- (bad pun un-intended.) -- so I'd love to hear how you guys thought I did. :D

Edit:
